It’s been a while, but I am almost done.
Almost seven tracks have been finished as I write this right now. Immensities has been a different kind of project. Sometimes it has some anthems, but other times it is more mellow but contains memorable tunes nevertheless. So much trial and error to do….but in the end it really does finalize and have its own identity. Here are the screenshots from previous sessions where I tried out different presets and VSTS to finalize the seventh song.
Overall, its been a process of sifting. The first six tracks are done. Yet, there is still a little bit more to go. Here is a screenshot of what I put for the seventh track on the song editor.
There is more work to do but the basic skeleton is there. Some of the VSTS I wanted to use had to be discarded for the lack of the sound matching with the rest of what I established here in the basslines and mood that has been identified from the beginning. So, overall, its been a mix and match and trying to see what fits. This is not new stuff. I just passed the halfway point of this album is all. Its a more longer process for this one because its not an ambient album. But I am getting familiar with this….
So, I will update soon on the front cover of the album and the back cover as well. For now, its one breakthrough after the other. Trying to get the sound and match it with all the rest of the layers I have put on the song editor. So, I think this one great album so far and is a bit different from what you already heard prior yet is not too drastic in any extreme either. It’s a little bit of Lounging at the Pole’s Tip with Skidoo if you want a description of what it might sound like. Of course, this will be more elaborated take on the genre.
So, anyway, I will see you soon and post soon as I get nearer to the finalizing of the album.
So, until then… see you there.
